Educated at Purdue University, Allison Svoboda studied art and design. In the 1990's she began a 10 year career as an ethnographic art dealer traveling extensively throughout Asia, Africa and South America. Allison draws inspiration in nature from the topography of the Himalayan Mountains to the coral reefs of the Maldives. Allison teaches art at Lill Street Art Center and works in her studio in Chicago.
